What is a “Photo Tour”?
The tours are designed for all photographers, irrespective of your camera gear, current level of skill or shooting styles. Our objective is to offer you with hands-on guidance and direction to help you on the path to understanding your equipment and how to get improved results to increase that wow factor in your photographs.
The tours are limited to a maximum group size of 5 people. This is to allow time for one-to-one tuition as we move along the tour route.
Photo Tours Dublin offer a photography workshop tour. The tour is not an historical walking tour. Along the route there are many historical landmarks that have many stories attached to them.
How many people are on each tour?
Tours are limited to a maximum of 5 people with no minimum number required to run.
Is there a Minimum age for Participants?
The recommended minimum age for participants is 16. Participants under 18, must be accompanied by a parent or supervising adult. Accompanying parent or supervising adult may be added as a Non-camera Guest at the time of booking.
What Level of Photography do I need to join a tour?
The tours are aimed at all photographers, beginner, advanced or pro. The tour is aimed at helping you learn how to take better photos and not to tell you what you should shoot.
What Payments Methods can be used to Pay for a Tour?
Photo Tours Dublin use a fully integrated booking system form www.bookeo.com to streamline our bookings. Payments are accepted from all Credit Cards and PayPal on the system and is fully automated and secure. To Book a Tour just click “Book a Tour” the link on the menu and select the tour you want to take.

Photo Tours Dublin cancellation-refund policy?
Tours are non-refundable except at the discretion of Photo Tours Dublin.
You may reschedule a tour for another date, ideally with 24 hours’ notice and subject to availably on the rescheduled tour date.
You may transfer the tour booking to someone else at no extra charge, subject to advanced notification and receipt of confirmation back from Photo Tours Dublin.
You can request a 75% refund up to 7 days in advance of you schedules booking.
We will depart on all Photo Tours at advertised start time. We would appreciate if you can try make it to the meeting point 5 minutes early or provide as much notice as possible if you are running late.
Does the price of the tour entitle me to enter Dublin’s tourist attractions?
Many of the top attractions in Dublin require you to pay for entrance. This is not included in the cost of the tour as the tour will not enter the part of the attraction requiring an entry fee. There are many hidden gems that are free to enter, I will point these out to you as we go.
What if it rains?
Photo Tours Dublin plan to operate Rain or Shine.
Rain can open a new side to the city from a photography side.
Watch the weather forecast for the day and dress accordingly, you may need a light rain jacket, cape, or umbrella even in the middle of summer.
In Ireland we always say, “if you don’t like the weather then wait a few minutes it’s bound to change”.
There are few places along the route to shelter if we need to, if there is a heavy shower we will find shelter until it passes and even carry on with some indoor shooting if the location is suitable.
Photo Tours Dublin reserve the right to cancel a tour due to extreme or unsafe weather conditions. In these rear circumstances we will offer a 100% refund, we hope you understand that your safety on the tour is extremely important.
